We re-visited the building that we visited 2011 Hope Japan #1. Now, this area is mostly cleared, but this building is still here. It is like a memorial: Buses are stopped. From a slide from Hope Japan #5 report meeting: Two area that we served this time. Iwaizumi Area has less population and received less help from the outside. We focus on the place to say, “The world still remember you!”. 帰国報告会のスライドより：北三陸（岩泉エリヤ）と南三陸（石巻、南三陸）の２つのエリヤで奉仕。北三陸は比較的外部からの支援が少なく、地区内の被害が少なかった方がひどかった方の支援をしていました。私たちはそこに行って「世界はあなたを忘れていません」というメッセージを伝えに行きました。

This floating device went to Alaska.  American husband – Japanese wife couple found it. They returned it to Minami Sanriku. A Canadian movie maker is making a documentary movie about this stoty. この浮き輪（？）は津波でアラスカに流され、国際結婚の家族に発見されました。そして南三陸に届けられました。 カナダの映画製作者の手によって、この話のドキュメンタリー映画が製作されるそうです。

Minami Sanriku is the town that the past Hope Japan worked. This time, in unforeseen reasons, we expected low attendants. When we arrived there, the room was full of people(!). We visited Sendai Evangelical Free Church. A formar Hope Japan team member moved (!) from Oregon to SendaI  to live and work with this church to support Tsunami victims. Pastor Yoshida explained God’s work in one of the darkest time of Japan. When non-Christian observed how Christians worked together to support the victims. A big Typhoon hit. All public transportation stopped. All school was closed. Rain and wind were strong. Thanksfully, it passed fast. By the afternoon, rain stoped and we even saw a blue sky. 大型台風が来ました。雨風が強まりました。交通機関はストップし学校は休みになりました。 しかし、午後には、風雨が弱まり、青空さえ見えるようになりました。 子供の頃の台風の経験を思いました。

Due to approaching strong Typhoon, we said “good by” to Akkera-kan and rush back to Tajiri. Dawn sensei, Thank you so much! 台風到来との知らせに、急いであっけら館を清掃。バークナー先生に別れを告げ、 雨風が強くなる前に田尻教会に戻る事が出来ました。

A tea master in Oregon made a tool (?) for Hope Japan. 田野畑村にて。オレゴンのお茶の先生が特製の器具を作って下さいました。
