Iwate

In September of 2016, a team was sent to the small town of Iwaizumi in the Iwate prefecture.

This community was hit with massive flooding and suffered damage to infrastructure. Lives were lost and many residents were displaced or greatly affected.

The team joined in with locals to dig mud and debris from homes, deliver food to those unable to travel, and offered the community support and encouragement.
