Minami Sanriku is the town that the past Hope Japan worked. This time, in unforeseen reasons, we expected low attendants. When we arrived there, the room was full of people(!). Typhoon 台風一過
A big Typhoon hit. All public transportation stopped. All school was closed. Rain and wind were strong. Thanksfully, it passed fast. By the afternoon, rain stoped and we even saw a blue sky. 大型台風が来ました。雨風が強まりました。交通機関はストップし学校は休みになりました。 しかし、午後には、風雨が弱まり、青空さえ見えるようになりました。 子供の頃の台風の経験を思いました。
Leave Iwaizumi and rush back to Tajiri 田尻教会に戻る
Due to approaching strong Typhoon, we said “good by” to Akkera-kan and rush back to Tajiri. Dawn sensei, Thank you so much! 台風到来との知らせに、急いであっけら館を清掃。バークナー先生に別れを告げ、 雨風が強くなる前に田尻教会に戻る事が出来ました。

A tea master in Oregon made a tool (?) for Hope Japan. 田野畑村にて。オレゴンのお茶の先生が特製の器具を作って下さいました。
In the rain 雨の中でも
While Team A and Team B are changing the members, rest of Team B served at two places. During the event, rain started. But, people (and we) had a great time. After the event, we packed all the equipment in a small car. We all wet 🙂 チームAとBが入れ替わりをしている間に、チームBの先発隊が2つのイベントを行いました。途中から雨が降り出しましたが、参加者も(私たちも)楽しく過ごすことができました。ずぶぬれになった道具とメンバーを小さな車に詰め込んで帰りました。
At Kamaishi
This building was an evacuation center. About 200 people was there. But, Tsunami hit this building and killed many of them. Hope Japan and Christians who came back from the world met together here.
